NEBBIOLO

On the top of Bricco hill in Monforte d’Alba, thanks to the sunny and warm exposure and the bunch thinning done in late summer we obtain this Nebbiolo d’Alba. The high sharpening in oak wood preserve and emphasize the aromatic nature of the vineyard.

Winemaking

Red Hat winemaking emerged with daily turning, macerationof the peels until the end of alcoholic fermentation, racking and subsequent malolactic fermentation

Shapening

In oak wood for 8-12 months followed by a sharpening in bottle for other 12 months before the sale

Tasting notes

With a ruby red color and maroon reflections that develop with age, this wine has delicate aromas of floral notes of roses and violet accompanied by fruity notes of cherry and raspberry. It has great body, harmonious and spicy, with a slight tannic feeling which ccompanies a long and very pleasant aftertaste. This Nebbiolo, thanks to its personality, goes well with main tasty courses and with game and red meats.

BARBERA

From this vineyard, on the hillside of “Bricco Borone” hill, thanks to the sunny and warm exposure and the bunch thinning done in late summer, ripe and rich grapesin color and extracts are gatters afterwards the prolonged maceration of peels and the aging in wood, enhance the profile of the vineyard giving us a pleasant wine, rich and durable.

Sharpening :

in oak wood for 12 months followed by a sharpening in bottle for other 6 months before the sale.

Tasting notes :

deep color pamegranate with purplish reflexes, this wine has delicate aromas of rose, cocoa, tobacco, and vanilla with a great acidic “backbone” that guarantees a pleasant, easy drink. The time spent in oak barels rounds out the palate and gives it pleasing, balanced tannins and full harmonic savory taste with pleasant and persistent ended.

MERLOT

From the hillside of “Brico del Borone” hill in Monforte d’alba, only durong the perfect vintage we got this Langhe merlot named Ma-Gia than can be read like “magia” and dedicated to our children “Ma-thilde”and “Gia-como”

Tasting notes :

very intense, alive and bright pomegranate with light urplish reflexes. perfume intense, ample clean sense of smell with notes of rose, blackerry, vanilla, cocoa, licorine and light toasted hazelnut. Full taste, harmonic, savary with a sightly dry and pleasant.
